The problem
A studio that sells build work and teaches classes is two businesses in one, and most people run it on five separate tools: a site for the portfolio, a form for bookings, a spreadsheet for payments, WhatsApp for support, and memory for the rest.
The gaps between those tools are where customers are lost. Someone books a class, the payment fails halfway, and nobody finds out — because no single place holds the whole story.
What we observed
Before we wrote any code.
We built this for ourselves first, so every decision is tested by daily use.
The biggest one: a single database for both halves of the business. Portfolio, courses, bookings, payments, certificates and content share the same records. The pricing page cannot quote a different figure from the class page, because both read the same row.
Second: every failure has to be visible. A held booking, a payment that never completed, an email that did not send — each produces a record and an alert rather than silence.
What we built
Appcademy is our flagship: a cinematic studio portfolio, a class academy with a schedule calendar, consultation booking, and a bespoke premium admin — all wired to ToyyibPay and shipped as a PWA. Proof that a studio should build its own house beautifully.
Before vs after
The same job, the old way and the new way.

Results
Counted from source and the production database on 29 August 2026. The platform is young; these show the scale of the system, not sales volume.
